Job Summary

Our client is seeking a skilled Senior SQL Data Analyst who has experience in Tableau. This individual will be focused on developing and maintaining SQL queries, optimizing database performance, and creating visually appealing dashboards and reports using Tableau. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistical analysis and a keen eye for transforming complex data into actionable insights. Duties

Develop and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases
Design and implement efficient database structures and schemas
Create and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and trends
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions
Conduct statistical analysis and data modeling to identify patterns, trends, and insights
Perform data validation and quality assurance to ensure accuracy and reliability of reports
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in SQL development, Tableau visualization, and statistical analysis

Desired Skills/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
Proven experience as a SQL Developer with proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing database performance
Demonstrated expertise in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server with experience in developing interactive dashboards and visualizations
Experience with statistical analysis techniques and tools
Knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or AWS Redshift preferred
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is a plus
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and handle multiple projects simultaneously
