CV Resourceshas partnered with a very large and stable company located inChicago, ILlooking to add anAccountant/Accounting Systems analystto their team! This role requires knowledge of system integration testing.

Please note the current offices are in Franklin Park and will be relocating to West Chicago by end of year.

Responsibilities

Perform testing scenarios within accounting systems as needed for software patches and updates
Assist in identifying areas of improvement and implementing enhancements and/or automation
Deliver support to users, addressing functionality questions and resolving issues
Identify process enhancements, implement them, and uphold strong internal controls.
Contribute to integration strategies, testing, deployment, and post-deployment requirements.
Maintain entity structure and financial information in financial reporting platform
Support monthly closing process
Analyze accounting transactions to ensure accuracy and appropriate recording of information and calculation and directs correcting entries resolving accounting discrepancies and irregularities and making sure all phases of the general ledger, month end and financial statements are correct.

Requirements

Bachelors degree preferred but not required
Only considering candidates with 5-7 years of experience.
Strong knowledge Accounting ERP systems required
IT Accounting Systems analyst background is a plus
Good communication skills both written and verbal
Team player and outgoing personality
