POSITION BRIEF

SRS Real Estate Partners, LLC is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join its winning team of professionals. The Senior Financial Analyst will primarily be responsible for budgeting, financial reporting, and business metrics for board reporting. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in Excel and someone who enjoys managing details, improving systems and processes, and analyzing information to surface actionable insights for the business. The position reports to the Financial Manager, Reporting and Analysis.

Principle Responsibilities

Produce monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance analysis for executive management reporting
Preparation of annual budget
Preparation of monthly financial statements including balance sheet, income statement and statement of cash flows
Revenue forecast analysis and reporting
Bank reporting including working with external auditors to complete annual agreed upon procedures
Preparation of documentation and coordination with external tax preparer for annual tax returns
Identify opportunities for reporting improvement and automation
Develop financial models to assist in decision making
Perform other related duties as assigned, including ad hoc special projects for executive management

Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business program
5 years experience in a finance/accounting role
Advanced Excel knowledge (Advanced formulas, Power Query, VBA is a plus) and financial modeling
Experience with ERP software (Microsoft Dynamics 365) is a plus
Attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills
Resourceful with strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with all organizational levels
