We are hiring for a Senior Business Development Rep. This role will be a vital member of the team working with brokers to source new business and build relationships with clients who are looking to sell their businesses. This person will help make a significant impact on the lives of small business owners.

Responsibilities:

Source new business, build and maintain client relationships and ultimately get engagement letters signed and handed over to the deal execution team. Your specific responsibilities will include:

Develop and maintain relationships with clients, providing strategic advice to maximize value.
Field and follow up on inbound leads.
Build and cultivate channel relationships to increase client leads
Run presentations to clients and channel partners
Work with our data engineers to identify a universe of potential buyers utilized to optimize the auction process.
Coordinate with internal teams and external advisors to ensure seamless transaction and handoff.

Required Qualifications:

2 years minimum professional experience working in investment banking, private equity, corporate development.
4-year Bachelor’s degree.
Highly motivated, confident, professional, and coachable.
High EQ, personable.
Advanced knowledge of business software (especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Excellent verbal and written communications skills, especially business writing skills.
Able to handle multiple projects with competing priorities.
Strong work ethic.
Good judgment in confidential situations and ability to exercise discretion.
High degree of comfort and confidence interacting with senior executives.
Flexibility and willingness to work outside normal business hours, as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficiency with Capital IQ, PitchBook or Tableau.
Experience in M&A

This is a full-time position offering a base salary of $80,000 in addition to performance-based incentives, with total on-target earnings (OTE) of $160,000 per year, plus early equity. Iconic offers full benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance. The Sr. Business Development role is based out of Los Angeles, with the expectation that this person will go into the West Hollywood several days a week.
