Account Manager - Job Description

TheAccount Manageris tasked with managing business relationships on a monthly basis through regular phone contact and email follow up. The Account Manager is responsible for the management of monthly sales orders and relationships with their assigned customers.

Account Manager - Job Responsibilities

Generate sales for a portfolio of accounts and reach the company's sales target
Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts
Manage and solve issues or conflicts with clients and refer to management when necessary
Seek to understand the customer's preferences by building good rapport and planning how to meet their individual demands.
Anticipate needs to add to product value on a consistent basis.
Add to the companys value by setting and reaching goals.
Meet time deadlines for accounts
Establish regular monthly contact and follow up with customers

Account Manager - Job Requirements

Outgoing personality and high aptitude for sales and customer service
Ability to quickly establish good customer rapport
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred
Previous experience in an account manager or sales/customer service position required
Professional communication and phone skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills required
Good planning and organization abilities
Salesforce CRM experience is preferred but not required
