Fingerpaint is looking for an inquisitive, analytical thinker to join our growing data engineering team. This person will utilize their analytical, statistical, and database skills to turn raw data into actionable insights.

Core Responsibilities

Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Performing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner
Validate, cleanse, and optimize campaign data
Management of campaign data warehouses
Advance our reporting and data visualization efforts

What It Takes

Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent combination of training and experience required.
5+ years of experience in data analysis or data engineering in a digital marketing setting
Advanced query building skills in Snowflake, SQL Server, or similar
Well versed with popular data warehouse platforms – Snowflake or similar
Practical business experience using SQL, Python and ETL tools & techniques for data analysis
Hand on experience with IAC, specifically Terraform
Cloud experience, preferably AWS
Experience in mainstream business intelligence tools (Tableau, Looker, etc.)
Working knowledge of statistics and common digital marketing principles and metrics
An analytical mind capable of creative problem-solving
Articulate, detail-oriented communication skills
Ability to stay current on new technology advancements and analytical trends
A sense of humor and collaborative approach

Bonus Points

Experience with CI/CD workflows
Experience with Agile and Jira specifically
Agency or pharma marketing experience
Experience mentoring team members
